1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a Truvows account or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by English law.
2. Who can use Truvows
Truvows is available to adults aged 18 and over who are resident in the United Kingdom. Age is verified during identity verification. We reserve the right to restrict access based on age, location or other eligibility criteria.
3. Identity verification
You must complete identity verification to access the platform. You must submit genuine identity documents only. Submitting fraudulent documents is a criminal offence and will result in permanent removal from the platform and referral to law enforcement.
4. Relationship status declarations
You must make accurate relationship status declarations. A declaration is a legally binding statement. Making a false declaration constitutes fraud and may result in civil or criminal liability. Declarations are stored permanently in an immutable audit log and cannot be deleted.
5. User conduct
You agree to comply with our Community Guidelines. You must not use the platform to harass, defraud, impersonate or harm other users. You must not use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Violations will result in account suspension or permanent removal.
6. SafeDate
SafeDate is a personal safety feature, not an emergency service. It does not replace emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, contact 999. Truvows accepts no liability for harm arising from the use or non-use of SafeDate.
7. Events
Event tickets are non-transferable. Refund policies are set per event and shown at the point of purchase. Truvows reserves the right to refuse entry to events if identity cannot be confirmed. Behaviour at events is subject to our Community Guidelines.
8. Payments
Payment processing is provided by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Truvows does not store payment card details. Refunds are issued in accordance with the refund policy displayed at the time of purchase.
9. Intellectual property
All Truvows content, branding, software and platform design is the intellectual property of Budruum Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
Truvows is a platform for connecting people. We do not endorse, verify or take responsibility for the conduct of individual members outside of what our verification process establishes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Budruum Ltd's liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the app. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
